In the HoJo’s eternal hunt to provide our savvy and adventurous guests something “a little different”, we present you with Peter’s Gourmade Grill! This kooky lunch-counter attached to a Velero gas station in neighboring Tustin is a hidden jewel serving up breakfast burritos, burgers, salads and even lamb chops. Chef and owner, Peter Stavros, is Cordon Blue-trained and has created quite a stir with his unique menu and off-the-wall venue.
If you’re lucky you will get one of the few seats at the outdoor counter, otherwise be prepared to enjoy your savory Greek-inspired delights while sitting on the curb or in your car.
Friend’s of the HoJo make this grill part of their weekly routine and say the burgers are perfection and the Greek fries (with gyro meat and feta) are other-worldly. If you have some extra time for a unique meal grab your car, your rental or a cab and get to this diner!
